Family Bushcraft & Survival Workshop I am pleased to be offering my first “Family Bushcraft and Survival event” Recommended age 6 years and above This will be open to 3 intrepid families who would like to share company with other like minded families and camp (for 3 days 2 nights learning, building and honing your Bushcrafting and Survival Skills Who is it suited to? It’s Ideal for the family looking to travel Australia or the world?… Those that love to venture off the beaten track as a family? … And those families wanting to build confidence and connection in nature! What will we learn? We will share important mindset skills in dealing with contingencies that would normally be outside your comfort and capability zones, the importance of a positive mindset and a plan in dealing with unforeseen situations! Learning all the priorities of survival! * Water! Find, filter, sterilise * Shelter natural /manmade * Fire “Primitive to Modern” * Food forage and trapping ( practice trapping only) * Communication & Rescue finding your way out (Self Rescue) or signaling them to find you! (Be Rescued) You will Acquire plenty of hands on skills and knowledge to take the road less travelled with confidence knowing all family members have a sound knowledge of dealing with unforeseen situations with the best of preparation! And yes we will have plenty of fun with “Survival theme family challenges! the kids will love the weekend and have plenty of laughs, camp fire cook ups, marshmallows and good conversations, if the sky’s are clear we will do some stargazing and direction finding with hot chocolate and Billy Tea. Where is it held? Sunshine Coast hinterland! (Both parents/ partners to be in attendance and physically involved over the full weekend ) The cost is $725 per Adult and each child is $170.
